God of War: Ascension

God of War has to be one of the biggest franchises gaming has seen being born in the past decade or so, and even though people originally compared it to the likes of Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden, it's God of War that franchises are compared to now. 2013 sees the release of Kratos' second PS3 outing- God of War: Ascension. And if God of War 3 is anything to go by, Ascension should be one hell of a game. It is, probably, the most anticipated action game of 2013 right now.
